Witchy Wednesday Activity

Writer: Taren STaren S

Welcome to another Witchy Activity Wednesday! Every week, we post a new witchy activity for you to try out. This can be anything from writing prompts and spells, to rituals and meditations. Our goal is to provide you with some fun and easy ways to stay connected to your spirituality, and to help you on your witchy journey.

This week's activity is all about standing on your local dirt and listening to the stories it has to tell you. Recently, I found out I had a cursed tree in my just around the corner (Check out that video on my Youtube channel) and I immediately rushed over to sit underneath it and see what it had to tell me.

As witches, our connection to the natural world runs deep. We draw energy from the earth, the moon, and the elements that surround us. But there is another source of power that often goes overlooked - the myths and legends of our local land. By delving into the myths of our local area, we can uncover hidden truths, unlock forgotten magick, and deepen our connection to the land itself.

Every story, every legend, is a thread in the intricate web of our collective consciousness. By learning about the myths of our land, we tap into this shared heritage and gain a deeper understanding of the forces that shape our world.

Moreover, these tales often hold valuable lessons and insights that can help guide us on our spiritual journey. Whether it's a cautionary tale about the consequences of hubris or a myth that celebrates the power of love, these stories have much to teach us about ourselves and our place in the world.

Remember, as witches, we are not just observers of the natural world - we are an integral part of it. By embracing the myths of our local land, we honor this connection and open ourselves up to a world of wonder and possibility.

For this week's activity, be sure to research any local myths in your area and see if you can find any of your own cursed trees. Be sure to head on over to our 13 Moons community forum to discuss the local myths in your own area with the other Crossroads Witches.
