Recognizing the Magick Around Us even in the Ordinary
It's easy to go through life and never notice the magick that's all around us. But if we take a moment to pay attention, we can start to see the beauty and mystery in the everyday. Here are some things to look for:
-The changing of the seasons
-A beautiful sunset or sunrise
-The first flowers of spring
-A baby's smile
Take a moment to appreciate the magick in the world around you, and you'll be surprised at how often you find it!
Connecting to Magick in Mundane Moments
We often think of magick as something that happens in special, rare moments. But the truth is, magick can happen anywhere, anytime. It's all around us, in the simplest things. All we have to do is be open to it.
Here are some ways to find and connect with magick in everyday life:
-Take a nature walk and really pay attention to your surroundings. Notice the colors, smells, and sounds of nature.
-Spend time with animals. They can teach us so much about being in the moment and living life with joy.
-Make time for yourself each day to do something you enjoy, just for the sake of doing it. This can be anything from reading a good book to taking a relaxing bath.
-Meditate or do some form of mindfulness practice. This will help you to slow down and be more present in each moment.
-Blow bubbles because honestly bubbles are happy.
When we take the time to connect with magick in our everyday lives, we open ourselves up to more possibilities and joy.
Recognize A Moment As Past
Often time when we get a taste of magick we seek to chase down that same moment. Sometimes the magick is in the moment and instead of trying to recreate we should focus on the fact that it is now in the past. Allowing us to move on and find new moments of joy and peace.
We should also remember that just because a moment has passed, doesn't mean that the magick is gone. It's still there, inside of us. We can hold onto it in our memories, and we can carry it with us into the future.
So the next time you find yourself in a magickal moment, take a moment to savor it. And then let it go, knowing that you can always hold onto the memory of it. There are always new moments of magick waiting to be discovered.
